It seems like now a days kids have lost perspective of music. If it doesn't have a crappy rap beat with pointless and bad lyrics; or massive distortion and people screaming as loud as they can, then kids don't want to listen to it.

It seems to be moving in a downward spiral, there are still a few good bands out there though. Just can't beat 60's and 70's rock though, they knew how to do it, with actuall talent. I'm in love with epic classical music, like Bach, or Lacrimosa type styles. Anywhere from Classic to "good" rap and everything in between that has a message and real talent to play instruments is what I hold hope for.

It's sad that my generation doesn't have a healthy appreciation for decent music. I don't have any friends that listen to classical or even anything from the 60's and 70's, they are all too wrapped up in the pop culture junk like High School Musical. It's sad.

I hate music like that, rap is just pieces of sexist African American men saying that they're like rich and they drink a ton and all of that. The real music is the old music, the stuff you can remember musically and remember the lyrically too.
